Situated in the heart of Welwyn Garden City, Welwyn Rugby Club has been a cornerstone of the local sporting community since its establishment in 1931. Among the many successful sections is the Mini/Junior/Girls division, which serves over 300 young players, starting from the age of six. This division provides not only a place to learn rugby skills but also an opportunity for children to develop camaraderie, fitness and a passion for the game.
Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of coaches and assistants ensures that these young athletes receive top-quality training and support. Each team within the youth section competes at a high level, with numerous weekend fixtures and participation in regional tournaments.
