The first phase of a major £45m regeneration scheme at High View, Hatfield offers buyers apartments with a difference.
Buyers can now look forward to the first opportunity to reserve a home at one of the most significant regeneration and housing projects in Hatfield.
Hatfield Rise in High View, a partnership between Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council and Lovell Homes, is an impressive new development leading the town’s ambitious plan to provide more quality new homes. It will deliver a range of housing - from one- and two-bedroom contemporary apartments to three-bedroom houses - over the next four years.
Lovell Homes is hosting a special community preview event at The Hive (formerly known as the Jim McDonald Centre) on Saturday 6 November from 10am-4pm to showcase the development plans to local people and potential buyers. Lovell will unveil photos of the views, a scale model and plans for the apartments. It will also be the first opportunity for buyers to reserve off plan and select their apartment.
Each apartment has a number of standout features including full height glazing to show off the spectacular views of the surrounding area from all floors.
All apartments also boast excellent space standards, storage and open plan, fully integrated kitchen diners. Location is key for buyers. The A1 is minutes away by car and is only 10 minutes from the train station.
Lovell Homes is expecting considerable interest from first time buyers and second steppers for the first phase as Roseanne Bullen, Sales and Marketing director at Lovell Homes, explains: “Hatfield Rise has everything a buyer could want - a good location, well-appointed apartments with great space standards and affordability. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get onto the property ladder in Hatfield.”
Jonathan Searles, New Homes Director at Ashtons, is acting as marketing agent for Lovell Homes. He said: “Hatfield Rise is an exciting new development that makes the most of a superb location, which is just south of the town centre, minutes from the Galleria Shopping Centre, the University of Hertfordshire and the Hatfield Business Park.
“Hatfield has undergone extensive regeneration over the last five years throughout the town including the train station and this provides a great opportunity to get into an area of potential growth. The size of the development and the significant improvements to the direct surrounding area will create an amazing new community.”
Councillor Tony Kingsbury, Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council Leader said: “Redevelopment across the borough is moving steadily forward and we are proud to be partnering with Lovell on the development work at Hatfield Rise.
“We are determined in our long-term priorities to provide quality homes through managed growth and delighted to see our plans taking shape. It is with great expectation that we can look forward to the development of a thriving new community in the heart of Hatfield.”
To really appreciate the development and its views, potential buyers are also being asked to register for an exclusive viewing early in the new year when the show apartment and marketing suite is launched.
In total, Hatfield Rise will deliver 146 quality new homes, 19 retail units including provision for a doctor’s surgery and play area, with a new green space at the heart of the development.
