Two of Hertfordshire’s most established Land & New Homes businesses merge.

Ashtons and Putterills Land & Development Ltd. are to merge and create the largest Land and New Homes business in Hertfordshire.
Historically, Ashtons’ core area of activity in the Land and New Homes market has been focused in Central and South Hertfordshire, whilst Putterills are the North Hertfordshire specialist. Together, the new group is expected to transact £130M of New Homes sales over the next 12 months.

Putterills residential sales offices retain their separate ownership and branding, and will continue to focus their core activity in the second-hand residential Sales and Lettings market.
Mark Shearing, Managing Director of Putterills, who is sadly having to retire early due to ill health, added that he is delighted that his Land and Development business will be entrusted to Ashtons, having known its Directors for a number of decades.
