The group provides first class Estate Agency, Letting Agency and New Homes in Harpenden, Welwyn Garden City and St Albans. Outlying rural areas are dealt with through our specialist Village & Country office in Redbourn and second Village & Rural department at Welwyn Garden City.

About Ashwell Mortgage Services
Ashwell Mortgage Services sits within the Ashtons group. Ashwell aim to make the homebuying process as simple as possible. We purely specialise in mortgages and do it brilliantly – day in, day out. Dealing with all major UK lenders, we will always source the best solution. We also offer our clients ancillary property or mortgage related products such as buildings & contents or mortgage protection?
The Role
Having launched the business in January 2020, we have seen huge demand in assisting customers secure the mortgages they need, as a result we are now in position to recruit our second Mortgage Advisor. In 2023, we sold in excess of 800 properties across our key markets such as Harpenden, St Albans, Welwyn Garden City and Redbourn, Berkhamsted and Hitchin all of which are very affluent areas.
We have over 5500 buyers register with us each year. We have also invested in a Client Services Department which processes over 2500 quotes per year in relation to ancillary services we offer such as removals, conveyancing and solicitors.
Our Client Services Department and offices across Herts will support our Mortgage Department in lead generation, allowing our mortgage specialists to do what they do best and focus on offering high-quality advice and securing the best mortgages for our HNW customers. This position would be based at our head office in Harpenden.
Applicant’s Skillset
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a broker
Fully ceMAP qualified (or equivalent)
Good track record of new business generation
Proven track record in volume mortgage sales working with HNW individuals
Track record of building relationships and maintaining relationships for years to come
Knowledge of the markets we operate in and the demographic of our customer base
A driven and ambitious professional who will support us in growing this department
Well-presented individual with excellent communication skills
The ability to represent our brand to levels we have become expected for
Remuneration
Basic £30,000 pa with an OTE of £50,000 - £55,000 pa
Hours
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm
Ad-Hoc Saturday when required working from home
